2026/2027 Options for K5 - 12th Grade

K5 -12th  grade families have three different OPTIONS. This allows them the flexibility to choose which option best meets their family's needs and best suits their child's learning preferences.

OPTION 1: FOUR DAY SCHOOL WEEK

Monday - Thursday, 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM, all core subjects will be completed in four days! No school on Fridays so families can enjoy their three-day weekend every week.

OPTION 2: FIVE DAY SCHOOL WEEK

Monday - Friday, 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM, all core subjects will still be completed in four days, which leaves Fridays for fun enrichment opportunities such as STEM, robotics, performing arts, P.E., arts and crafts, music lessons, tutoring, foreign language, and fun learning units. Fridays are enrichment only, no graded subjects.

OPTION 3: HYBRID LEARNING

On-campus learning Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM, learning from home Mondays and Wednesdays with teacher support. Since our students operate on a four-day school week, hybrid students will also work on a four-day lesson plan system, leaving Fridays for family time, or they may come to our optional enrichment classes on Fridays. Teachers will provide hybrid students with their learning plan for the week, which will include all assignments that need to be completed in class and at home. Students will turn in all work to their teacher once per week to be graded. Teachers are available during their planning time Monday - Thursday to respond to emails and questions. We also have a Hybrid Coordinator who is on campus each day during regular business hours to assist in answering questions and help students or families who need assistance.

Litchfield Christian School has been such a beautiful blessing to our family. LCS is a Christ-centered school that challenges students academically, nurtures their creativity, promotes a positive learning environment, and contributes to their spiritual growth. LCS is very supportive, and they encourage their students and their families. Our daughter came into LCS completely broken and empty. Public school had taken a drastic toll on her mental health. She had pleaded with us for over a year to homeschool her. We were at a loss. Our daughter is a very social person, and we knew she needed more. We decided to check out LCS as an alternative. From the very moment we stepped inside LCS, we could see and feel the genuine love. EVERYONE felt as if they belonged. Before our day of observing was over, she had asked if she could please come to LCS. She was smiling and said this place is my kind of place. It's definitely been just that!

Today she is thriving, and she is truly enjoying herself. She loves to go to school, and she loves all of the teachers. She has made good friends and is blossoming in all areas of life. She's even started singing on stage during chapel. This has been the best decision we could have ever made as parents for our daughter. We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity in our hometown, and we truly appreciate that LCS offers grades K-12. How blessed we are to be a part of Litchfield Christian School. We look forward to many more amazing years here.
